About the artist
An abstract artist focused on drawing and painting for their immediate, human materiality. Fascinated by our first graphical symbols of dots and lines (Genevieve Von Petzinger, The First Signs), and colour, I create images that use simple structures such as the grid to play and contemplate, allowing patterns to emerge by themselves.
Tristan studied BA(Hons) Art and Aesthetics at the former University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) and MA Illustration at Falmouth.
